Wow it’s been a long time since Universal Studios made their first movie. The big number—104 years.

Universal Studios is one of the best known movie studios, because it is both a movie production company and a theme park. Universal Studios Hollywood opened in 1915, and the official studio tour began in 1964. It’s first ride opened in 1991.

Today the theme park has many rides, such as Revenge of the Mummy ride, the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride, and much more.

The newest attraction is Harry Potter World, which includes Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey Ride and the Flight of the Hippogriff ride.

Thousands of people visit Universal Studios theme park every day. There are two sections—the lower lot and the upper lot.

The lower lot has a lot of rides—Revenge of the Mummy ride, Transformers ride, and the Jurassic Park ride. The Jurassic park ride has a 100ft drop and an area for little kids called the Dino Play Zone. The Transformers ride has a 3d touch with some drops. The Mummy ride goes super fast and at one time, it goes backwards.

The upper lot has a few rides such as the Minions ride, the Simpsons ride, this ride that is for 3 year olds near the minions, the super silly fun land (from minions 1), the Shrek ride, and the tour bus.

The tour bus takes you around the studios, showing you the movies sets, talking about the movies, and more.

There also is the Walking Dead ride but saving the best for last is the Harry Potter ride! There are two rides in Harry Potter World— Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, and the Flight of Hippogriff.

In Harry Potter world there’s a shop called Ollivanders. If you love mystery, go to Harry Potter World.

WaterWorld is based of the movie and it’s a great show to watch, but if you don’t like getting wet, action, and fire, don’t go to WaterWorld.

Universal’s animal actors show is funny, cute, and family friendly.

Universal Studios is a great studio and theme park. It’s had many changes since its first ride.
