There are nine positions in baseball. There’s a pitcher, catcher, first base, second base, shortstop, third base, left field, center field, and right field. The maximum number of players is 11.

In baseball there are only 9 players on the field. If one team has eight players the coach tells one person to fill the empty spot on the other team.

When the infield catches a ball, he throws it to a baseman to try to get the other team’s player out. If the second baseman catches the ball, If the second baseman catches the ball, he can throw it to first base to get the batter out. Same for the shortstop who catches a ball. The whole outfield throws it to the cutoff man. The pitcher throws the ball to the catcher. This is why I like baseball
